Kuma Subscription: terms, free trial and cancellation

1. What the subscription covers
Kuma can be downloaded and used free of charge for part of its content. The subscription gives access to all the tales and features identified in the app as reserved for subscribers. The details of what each plan covers are presented to you in the app before any subscription, on the subscription screen.
2. Plans and prices
Two plans are offered: a monthly subscription and an annual subscription, renewed every month and every year respectively.
Current prices are displayed in the app, on the subscription screen, before any subscription. They include all taxes, are shown in the currency of your Apple or Google account, and vary by country and exchange rate. We do not publish a price list on this page: only the price displayed at the time of subscription is binding.
3. Free trial
Every new subscriber is entitled to a 7-day free trial. The trial is reserved for users who have not already benefited from one. At the end of the 7 days, the subscription automatically continues as a paid plan, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.
4. Who your seller is
Kuma subscriptions are sold and collected by the distribution platforms: Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you subscribed. Ultimes Griots Group neither receives nor retains any banking data.
As a result: - Billing, renewal, price changes and refunds are governed by Apple’s or Google’s terms. - Cancellation is done in your Apple or Google account settings, not in Kuma. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. - Any refund request must be addressed to Apple or Google. We can assist you, but we cannot issue refunds in their place.
5. Automatic renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically for the same period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The amount is charged within the 24 hours preceding renewal.
- iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kuma → Cancel Subscription.
- Android — Google Play → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kuma → Cancel.
After cancellation, access remains open until the end of the period already paid for.
6. Right of withdrawal (European Union)
If you reside in the European Union, you are in principle entitled to a withdrawal period of 14 days for a contract concluded at a distance. As this contract is concluded with Apple or Google acting as seller, their procedure applies — Apple and Google each provide a refund request form. The 7-day free trial also lets you try the service without commitment.
7. Price changes
We may change the price of the subscription. You will be informed by Apple or Google before the relevant due date, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Without cancellation, the new price applies at the next renewal.
