[sociallocker id= »4532″] A man in form and a fierce beast at heart. His muscles carry all the pride of a city: Danka Wali. The silent elephant, still undefeated. He embodies brute strength and technique at work. His name: Yarada (curse in Wolof).

Yarada Lô reappeared in Danka Wali, his city-state, at the age of 13. Very little is known about his childhood and his true origins. The only one who could tell us more is Majaba, his mother, who sadly is no longer with us.

Since the age of 13, Yarada has lived with his grandmother. The boy, a person of few words, caught the eye of the city’s notables, who discovered his exceptional strength when he single-handedly defeated a battalion of soldiers. 

A feat that earned him a place in the prestigious Kilobi stable: the training center for the wrestlers of Danka Wali. That same year, he took part in the “dissongo”, the wrestling tournament that pits the wrestlers of all the city-states against each other. 

His exceptional build and natural strength triumphed over his opponents. He won the title of “king of the arenas” that same year — a title that Danka Wali – his city – had not won in ages. A kefoli (a song honoring warriors, sung by the griots) was dedicated to him for his bravery and unmatched charisma.

13 years later, Yarada remains the undefeated king of the arenas. His ultimate technique – the elephant’s foot – guarantees his victory in every duel.  

Besides his feats as a wrestler, the young man lives away from the crowds. He is a renowned bounty hunter who spends his spare time gazing at the horizon from the walls of his city. No one knows exactly what is in his heart, since he never reveals it.[/sociallocker]
