The City-State of Jegu

The city-state of Jegu is one of the 6 city-states of the Eloko (country) of KURUFUGA. It is the city where Imana, the hero of Ultimes Griots, was born.

Jegu is made up of several districts that are comparable to large cities in our space-time (in terms of area). Jegu’s unique architectural style has earned it the title of the city of sky bridges. Its architecture blends harmoniously with the geography of the region. Everything is put to use without changing anything. The cliffs, the mountains, the plains… are untouched, and the dwellings are set into them.

The must-see place in the city-state of Jegu is the magnificent LAMB stadium (a word of Senegalese origin that refers to African wrestling). It is in this stadium that a large part of the scenes of book two will take place. I almost forgot: there is also PLACANAGE, the favorite destination of the city’s children. But that’s another story. We’ll come back to it.
