The story of the Ultimes Griots adventure takes place in the year 840 of the new era, an era that began with the signing of the Kurukan Fuga charter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first half of this era was marked by total peace throughout the eloko. Respect for the charter guaranteed prosperity in the signatory kingdoms. Economic activity went on there without the threat of war. Several neighboring kingdoms had ratified the charter, so much so that the eloko grew and took the name KURUFUGA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That said, 300 years before the story of Ultimes Griots, things changed and Kurufuga went through a dark period: 93 years of wars between neighboring kingdoms. Following this historic slide, the guardians of the maat of the various kingdoms met in conclave. It was this conclave that established the Dissongo, which put an end to the dark years of war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
